Katelyn is communications coordinator at the University of Florida’s College of Design Construction and Planning. She graduated from Florida State University, Tallahassee, Fla., with a bachelor’s degree in marketing and a minor in communications in April 2011. After graduation, Katelyn worked as account coordinator at The Zimmerman Agency in Tallahassee. She enjoys that her work in the public relations field allows her to not only communicate but also be a storyteller.
“Communicators have the power to control what people read and in that we make a difference in people’s everyday lives,” she says. “ I also enjoy developing relationships with the media and clients.”
