Let’s predict the future together! Join us for an interactive session where we explore emerging trends in the communications field. We’ll examine the impact of AI on search algorithms, the possibility of ad-free social media, the growing importance of authenticity, the rising impact of smaller influencers and the evolving role of citizen journalists in media relations.

Mark your calendar, save the date: Join us for some no-stress socializing at our next Pop Up PR — a way to relax and get to know your FPRA buddies.

Enjoy some great food, drinks and great conversation at Beaker and Flask Wine Co. on May 7 starting at 5:30 p.m. Beaker and Flask is located in San Felasco Tech City just outside of Gainesville on the way to Alachua.

Put your knowledge to the test at Quiz for a Cause, the annual trivia competition hosted by the Florida Public Relations Association’s Gainesville Chapter.

This year’s event will take place April 30, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Fluid Lounge in Tioga Town Center. All are welcome to participate, including FPRA members, family and friends – you do not have to work in the PR field! Participants will compete on teams of up to six people for the coveted title of trivia champions, as well as prizes from FPRA and Fluid Lounge!

Proceeds support professional development opportunities for local public relations students and PR/communications professionals.
