The Gainesville Chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA) is proud to support the professional growth of our members by offering a partial scholarship opportunity for LeadershipFPRA, one of FPRA’s premier leadership development programs. This scholarship is available to any current FPRA Gainesville Chapter member.
LeadershipFPRA was created as an exclusive member benefit for communications professionals who want to elevate their leadership skills and expand their impact within their organizations, communities, and the public relations profession.
Modeled after respected leadership programs such as Leadership Florida and regional community leadership initiatives, LeadershipFPRA provides participants with access to accomplished leaders and subject matter experts in areas including government, ethics and governance, law, economic development, higher education, business strategy, corporate finance, and more.
The program is competitive and limited to just 21 participants each year. Class members participate in several sessions throughout the year, beginning and concluding at FPRA’s annual PR & Comms Summit. Additional experiences include a joint session with FPRA’s Counselors’ Network and a leadership-focused visit during the Florida Legislative Session in Tallahassee.
Through LeadershipFPRA, participants gain valuable insights, strengthen strategic leadership skills, and build meaningful relationships with peers and industry leaders from across the state. Graduates leave better prepared to serve as leaders within their organizations, contribute to their communities, and advance the public relations profession.
The Gainesville FPRA Chapter encourages qualified members to apply and take advantage of this scholarship opportunity. Whether you are early in your career or a seasoned practitioner, LeadershipFPRA offers a unique opportunity to grow as a leader and strengthen your seat at the decision-making table.
We look forward to supporting another Gainesville-area professional on their leadership journey. Deadline to apply for the scholarship is June 30.
