      LeadershipFPRA

      LeadershipFPRA: a valuable intensive leadership program members

      LeadershipFPRA provides our members with the tools they need to become stronger leaders in their organizations, their communities and FPRA. The program is formal, consisting of an orientation and five full-day sessions held over 12 months. Regardless of how new you are to the business or how long you may have practiced, this program will help you hone leadership skills good for a lifetime.

      Graduates of the LeadershipFPRA program will be better equipped to not only function as PR professionals in their respective workplaces, but also strengthen their rightful seat at the boardroom table and to evolve into further leadership roles in FPRA, their communities and the industry in general.

      PR Masters

      This program provides professional development and networking opportunities for members with 10+ years of experience in PR.

      Programming includes:

      • “Behind the Scenes” series – quarterly meetings where members discuss PR trends, visit local businesses or tour PR departments
      • Mentoring program with chapter members just starting in PR
      • Outreach to the chapter through activities such as introducing speakers at luncheons, serving as a resource for board and committee members, writing white papers or participating in the PR series in the Business Report of North Central Florida and providing suggestions or connections to speakers for local professional development programming
      • Support for members pursuing the Certified Public Relations Counselor (CPRC) designation
      • Participation in the chapter’s Speakers Bureau
