Jacqueline is a native of Winter Park, Fla., and is a senior at the University of Florida where she is pursuing majors in public relations and agriculture communications and leadership. She currently serves as president of UF’s PRSSA chapter, leading more than 200 members, a 10-member executive board and overseeing the group’s in-house agency, Alpha PRoductions. In addition, Jacqueline serves as president of UF’s Donate Life chapter, a student-run nonprofit dedicated to raising awareness about organ donation. She is also treasurer of the Journalism Communications College Council and serves on the Dean’s Student Advisory Council.
Over the summer, Jacqueline worked as a social marketing intern for Ketchum PR in Washington, D.C. There she worked with federal government clients on several different health campaigns for Health and Human Services. “I loved the fast-paced agency atmosphere,” she says. “Social marketing is something I am hoping to pursue.”
