FPRA is launching its first CPRC Awareness Month in January. All month long, FPRA will share testimonials on social media from colleagues about their experiences as a CPRC (Certified Public Relations Counselor) and why they believe the designation is important.
If you are interested in pursuing your CPRC credential, there are a few dates you will want to mark on your calendar. The first one is Tuesday, January 14, 12-1 p.m. Eastern time. Terri Behling, APR, CPRC, will lead a panel discussion with Kevin Coulson, APR, CPRC, and Kim Livengood, APR, CPRC, about their experiences earning the credential. It’s an opportunity to learn about the certification process and how to prepare for the exam.
FPRA also offers a series of conference calls to help members prepare for the exam by reviewing practice questions. Ryan Gerds, APR, CPRC, led our calls in the fall, which were well attended. Kara Winton, APR, CPRC, and Michelle Bono, APR, CPRC, will lead our winter calls on Tuesday, February 4; Thursday, February 27; and Thursday, March 12. Those calls will be from 12-1 p.m. Eastern time. To register for any of the calls outlined above, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
