The Florida Public Relations Association Gainesville chapter recently held its August Luncheon, marking the start of a new year. This event brought together professionals from various companies and organizations, creating a vibrant atmosphere of networking and collaboration.

The luncheon featured several key moments, beginning with the recognition of our 2023-24 board members for their hard work and dedication over the past year. The chapter also installed its new board, setting the stage for the upcoming year’s goals and initiatives.

We were pleased to have several of our past presidents in attendance, which reinforced the chapter’s strong legacy and commitment to excellence in public relations.

A highlight of the luncheon was the presence of FPRA State President Julie Frey, APR, CPRC. Julie joined us to help install the new board and to welcome the new year, underscoring the importance of our chapter’s role in the statewide organization.

Additionally, our chapter president, Angela Chan, shared her vision for the upcoming year with the introduction of her theme, Symphony of PR Success. This theme emphasizes the importance of collaboration and strategic communication to achieve excellence in public relations.

As we move forward, we look forward to working together under Angela’s leadership and continuing to build on the chapter’s legacy of success.

Thank you to everyone who attended and helped us kick off the year on a positive note. We’re excited about the opportunities ahead and the impact we can make together!
