More than 35 members, guests and students attended FPRA Gainesville Chapter’s membership mixer on Oct. 18 held in lieu of the chapter’s monthly luncheon. Attendees enjoyed hors d’oeuvres, door prizes and mingled while learning about the value of FPRA membership and opportunities for involvement. Thank you to the University of Florida, Florida Museum of Natural History, Phillips Center of Performing Arts, AdFed and Meridian Behavioral Healthcare for donating the door prizes and the renewal and bring-a-friend drawings.
Congratulations to Grace Flowers who won tickets to the UF vs. Jacksonville State game on Nov. 17. Grace was one of the more than 50 FPRA Gainesville members who renewed by the Oct. 18 Membership Mixer.
