The FPRA Gainesville Chapter hosted a fantastic September Monthly Program, filled with learning, networking, and inspiration. Held at the beautiful and historic Sweetwater Branch Inn, the luncheon provided the perfect setting for mingling, networking, and engaging with peers. For many members, it was a nostalgic return, as our chapter used to host luncheons at this venue. The welcoming atmosphere and delicious lunch made it the ideal spot for both casual conversation and the day’s insightful program.
Welcoming Back a Returning Member
We were excited to start the day by celebrating our returning member, April Schroeder, with a special pinning ceremony. It was wonderful to officially welcome her back into the FPRA Gainesville community!
Insights from Jen Houser of Creative Springs
Our keynote speaker, Jen Houser, founder of Creative Springs, delivered an engaging and informative presentation on the power of digital tactics in PR. She shared a powerful case study on mental health awareness, explaining how digital strategies were used to raise awareness and create meaningful impact. Attendees walked away with valuable knowledge on how to incorporate innovative digital tactics into their own communications efforts.
