What Do You Think About UAB’s New Entry-Level PR Credential?
The Universal Accreditation Board (UAB), which governs the Accredited in Public Relations (APR) credential and of which FPRA is a participating organization, will launch a new entry-level credential in public relations for college seniors in a public relations track or those within six months of having graduated starting in 2013. According to Jeff Nall, APR, CPRC, FPRA state president, the rationale behind the Principles for Accreditation in Public Relations (P-APR) credential is to provide opportunities for graduating college seniors to enter into “the pipeline” to pursue APR sooner than is often the case currently.
UAB has requested that FPRA financially contribute to the credential’s development, and the FPRA Executive Committee wants your feedback. To learn more, click here. Then, take FPRA’s 11-question survey. Your feedback is needed by today.
