Mary Ficek
Mary Ficek is the communications specialist at Florida Farm Bureau Federation in Gainesville. She serves as the administrator of the federation’s website and facilitates application of new technologies such as social media. Mary also writes and organizes articles for use in FloridAgriculture Magazine.
Mary earned her bachelor’s degree in agricultural communication and leadership development with minors in mass communication and leadership from the University of Florida.
“I enjoy public relations because it allows me to be creative and think outside of the box,” she says.
When she’s not working Mary enjoys bike riding and attending local music shows with her husband, Geoff.
