For the first time, Gainesville and UF was host of the FPRA Counselors’ Network Winter Symposium in January. The annual event provides high-level professional development designed to encourage productive idea sharing and dialogue among FPRA’s most experienced professionals.
Speakers shared their expertise and led interactive discussions on several topics, including how to navigate societal issues, teaching social listening, and artificial intelligence and the future of the workplace. The audience also heard from Gen Z’rs themselves through The Agency at UF, a strategic communications firm within the university specializing in research-based advertising, public relations and communications to create inspired and informed multi-faceted campaigns.
A tour of the agency and other locations around the University of Florida campus also took place.
