Each year, FPRA Gainesville awards scholarships that cover the membership fee of the recipients for the coming year. This year that fee is $315 and the membership extends from November 1, 2023 through October 31, 2024.
The James Terhune Membership Scholarship goes to a public relations professional who graduated from UF in the last five years.
This year the James Terhune Member Scholarship was awarded to Emily Mavrakis. Emily has been a member of the Gainesville FPRA Chapter since 2022. She is currently serving on the Chapter Board as Director of Educational Services. Congratulations Emily!
